Booking & Reservations
How many guests can Vernon Oaks accommodate?
Vernon Oaks comfortably sleeps up to 14 overnight guests. Daytime gatherings and celebrations may accommodate up to 24 guests with prior approval.
Do you offer direct booking?
Yes! Booking directly through Vernon Oaks allows you to enjoy the best available rates while communicating directly with our team.
Is there a minimum stay?
There is a three night minimum.
What is your cancellation policy?
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Yes. Vernon Oaks is located along the scenic Vernon River and offers beautiful river views throughout the property.
Is there a fitness room?
Yes! Guests enjoy access to a private fitness room equipped with exercise equipment, yoga mats, resistance bands, gym towels, and cleaning supplies.
Amenities
Is the kitchen fully stocked?
Absolutely. The kitchen includes cookware, bakeware, cast iron cookware, serving dishes, spices, cooking oils, baking essentials, coffee stations, small appliances, and much more.
Do you provide coffee?
Yes! Each coffee station is stocked with complimentary K-Cups, assorted teas, and sweeteners.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes. Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup cloths, luxury pool towels, and additional linens are all provided.
Are toiletries included?
Yes. Every bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, Q-tips, cotton balls, cotton rounds, tissues, and more.
Families
Is Vernon Oaks family friendly?
Absolutely! The spacious layout, gathering spaces, games, baby gate, and family amenities make it ideal for guests of all ages.
Do you provide children’s items?
Yes! We want traveling with little ones to be as easy as possible. Vernon Oaks provides several family-friendly essentials for your stay, including:
- 2 Pack & Play | foyer closet
- 2 High chairs | studio cabinet
- 2 Baby gates | foyer closet
- 3 Sets of children plates/bowls/utensils | tall pantry in main kitchen
Safety & House Rules
What important house and safety rules should I know before booking?
Vernon Oaks is a private waterfront home with a pool, hot tub, fire pit and fitness equipment. No lifeguard is on duty. Pool and hot tub use is at your own risk; no diving or glass is permitted, and children must be supervised by a responsible adult Pets are not permitted in the pool or hot tub. The fire pit must be attended by a responsible adult and fully extinguished after use.
The minimum age to rent is 21. Smoking is prohibited. Quiet hours are 10:00PM-8:00AM. Events and gatherings beyond the registered guest party require prior written approval and may be subject to an event fee.
Cameras
Are there security cameras on the property?
Yes. Exterior security cameras are located around the property for security, safety, liability, occupancy verification and property protection. Cameras are visible to guests and cover the front door, front yard, side yards, backyard and pool/hot tub areas. There are no cameras inside the home.
Pets
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are welcome with prior disclosure at booking. A maximum of two dogs under 50 lbs each is permitted, and a $200 pet fee applies. Dogs are not permitted on furniture or in the pool/hot tub and must be kenneled when left unattended. A large double kennel is provided in the ground level bedroom off of the gym.
What pet amenities do you provide?
Guests traveling with dogs will enjoy a custom two-dog crate, a dedicated pet waste station with complimentary waste bags, and plenty of outdoor space.

Can I host an event?
Yes! Vernon Oaks welcomes a variety of gatherings with prior approval, including:

Daytime gatherings and celebrations of up to 24 total guests may be permitted with prior written approval. An event fee may apply depending on the size and nature of the gathering. Please contact us before booking if you plan to host a gathering or event.
Are weddings allowed?
Yes! Vernon Oaks is an ideal setting for intimate weddings, elopements, rehearsal dinners, and wedding weekend accommodations. Please contact us for availability, guest limits, and event pricing.

Only a short 20 minute drive away.
How far is Tybee Island?
Approximately a 35 minute drive.
Is parking available?
Yes. Complimentary private parking is available for guests.

What should we bring?
Honestly—not much! We’ve stocked Vernon Oaks with many of the comforts of home, including linens, toiletries, kitchen essentials, coffee, tea, laundry supplies, games, fitness equipment, poolside amenities, and countless thoughtful touches to help you pack lighter and enjoy more.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Is there a grill?
Yes! The outdoor grill includes cooking utensils and an extra propane tank for your convenience.
